FUNGO spent 6 years playing on any available field in the area. Although our boys of summer always compete at the highest level, not having a park to call home was disheartening. In 2022, Wake Forest Parks and Rec agreed to reserve Flaherty Park 2 for all FUNGO home games. We were thrilled to be in the heart of town. After years of conversation and effort, Mayor Vivian Jones took notice of FUNGO and knew that this teamless town and townless team were meant to be together. 2023 marked our first year as the official collegiate wood bat team of Wake Forest. What's Next?.....Building the ballpark these boys and this town deserve!
